Gregory (Greg) Coventry has extensive experience comprising regulatory compliance management and auditing, System Operator Training, Outage Scheduling and Coordination, Reliability Coordinator (RC), Transmission and Generation Operations (TOP, GOP), and Energy Trading and Scheduling (Balancing Authority) to include Management positions since 1986.  Greg was a NERC certified System Operator from 1997 to 2019.  He is an expert in monitoring and analyzing Real-time system conditions as well as making decisions to maintain operational reliability and problem resolution under stressful conditions and tight deadlines. He has proven leadership abilities as Chief Dispatcher, Project Manager and original manager of Reliability Coordination function in WECC Desert Southwest Region.  Greg has thorough knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards, is experienced at long term outage coordination and system planning, has exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, is experienced with Microsoft Office suite, and is highly personable and capable of working with others under any given situation.
