Archer

Meet Lesley Kayser-Sprouse, Archer’s talented Compliance Engineer, in this month’s The Archer Experience spotlight. Learn why inspiring customer happiness is her top priority. As a Compliance Engineer, Lesley brings significant knowledge and expertise in Operation and Transmission Planning (O&P) to Team Archer. Currently, she is administering transient, short-circuit, and Geomagnetic Disturbance (GMD) planning assessments and studies that support our clients in remaining reliable during varying event occurrences. The results of these studies help create operating plans that guide system operators, assist with compliance requirements, and establish mitigating measures. Lesley is a newer member of Team Archer and has recently relocated across the U.S. to spend more valuable time with her elderly mother while working remotely for the organization. “The flexibility in my workday is a unique and valuable benefit of working for Archer. I have the autonomy to manage my time and schedule, yet I still complete all directives. I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to take my mother to a medical appointment when required, but I accomplish getting deliverables and deadlines met by being adaptable throughout my day. In addition, the power of remote work brings flexible advantages to customize my work style.” Archer’s company culture resonates with Lesley’s principles and values. “Archer’s company culture is easygoing and open. I can talk to anyone anytime, which is a new experience. I’ve had direct conversations with other department directors, and I embrace knowing there is an open-door policy to converse and discuss various matters. Managers high on the organizational chart truly care about me, what I’m doing, and how I’m making a difference for the client.” Inspiring client happiness and knowing their expectations are among Lesley’s top priorities. On all occasions, “when I see a customer’s need, I go above and beyond by delivering a solution. My position allows me to be innovative and creative – I can generate new ideas by being an expert. Providing viable solutions to our valued clients brings great satisfaction, and I’m incredibly motivated by being a problem solver who can create client tools and supply remedies given the space and time.” What’s next for Lesley? She would like to expand in her current role by working in a more extensive system and build her future at Archer by having the opportunity to carve out a position that may not currently exist. Archer immensely appreciates Lesley’s commitment to excellence and is eager to witness continued authentic teamwork and longstanding growth.
