Nicholas (Nick) Weber is a seasoned security leader who has been in military and security leadership roles since 2002. He is a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) professional who has held a Top Secret/Secret Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Clearance. He has served in physical and cyber security management roles at Grant Public Utility District, Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), the US Department of Homeland Security, and the US Army. He has been recognized for his leadership with accolades such as the Security Systems News 20 Under 40 award and the Bronze Star Medal.
Mr. Weber enjoys nonprofit leadership, including his current tenure as a Community Vice President at ASIS International. He is also a current member of the ASIS CSO Center, Veterans in Energy Professional Development Committee, SIA Utilities Advisory Council, and the Vandal Scholarship Fund National Board. He served on the University of Idaho Alumni Association Board of Directors for nine years, including terms on the Executive Committee and as President of UIAA. He has completed terms on the DHS the Dams Sector Coordinating Council, as Vice Chair of the WECC Physical Security Working Group, and Athletic Director of the Salt Lake City Chapter of Team Red, White, and Blue, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting veterans to their community through physical and social activity.
Mr. Weber has used his diverse experiences, education, training, and coalition-building skills to develop unique solutions to even the most daunting problems. He has a proven track record of success from small companies to complex international and multi-agency projects.
