Today, we are getting to know Alicia Brown, our talented accountant. Alicia shares her most important attributes of working at Archer and the sense of community she experiences. Alicia is Archer’s accountant and has been with the organization since 2019. She constantly proves her skill level as she prepares and analyzes financial statements, creates invoices, finds transactional discrepancies, processes payroll, and looks to reduce unnecessary expenses. When asked how Archer is different from other organizations she’s worked for, she answered, “the support management and team Archer provides is unapparelled. Being able to work remotely brings a craving for a sense of community within the company, and Archer solidly brings it. Every member of team Archer is easily accessible at a moment’s notice, and it is refreshing to experience and distinctly appreciated. The connections I’ve made with Archer employees are superior. Archer makes time for people, which is a set up for success, and makes building relationships work. It’s very inspiring.” Self-improvement and continued learning are Alicia’s focuses. She feels it is imperative to improve professionally and personally by looking at areas that need attention and reflecting on one’s weaknesses to grow. With Archer’s assistance, Alicia intends to obtain additional cybersecurity knowledge, project management, and resource management for her current role. In addition, she utilizes her critical thinking skills to address challenges continuously. Alicia advises anyone interested in becoming a future Archer employee. “If you want to work here, don’t be shy. Be willing to bring your questions and suggestions. Make yourself a part of the team. Having the desire and ambition to learn and become knowledgeable in what Archer does is one of the best words of wisdom for future team members.”
